Behind the Blue Door is a specialized training program designed to prepare individuals for the field of pastoral care and to serve in the role of Chaplain.
In this program you can expect:
Basics of psychology from a behavioral perspective.
Study the history and modern practice of Funeral Rites.
Learn Paraprofessional counseling skills.

Learn how to use your gifts of empathy and compassion to support others.
This program is a multimedia program of study facilitated and supervised by a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling professional, and will conclude with an endorsed certificate of completion.

Reclaiming Your Sacred Path

"Reclaiming Your Sacred Path" is both the title of a book that Rev Dr Jon Anastasio HP Ed.D wrote in 2006, and a weekly radio show that airs Tuesdays at 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific Time on BoldBraveMedia.com. It's offered to give people an opportunity to discuss growth and the Human Spirit.

We are each on an inner journey driven by our passion and love for Deity, as we understand Her and Him.
You have likely been following it for a long time, and many of us struggle with the contrast between the outer world's demands and the inner promptings we feel to bring Spirit into our lives.

Our soul's growth is also reflected in the outer expression of our inner being - our relationships, work, art, spiritual practice.
Reclaiming - and walking - your Sacred path means bringing the two into alignment - working to make our words, actions, and impact on our world match up with what we say we believe and value.

Initially, I will be posting the links to the radio show here. This is not yet a class or course in the traditional sense - there is no curriculum other than the content I post, no assignments, no tests.

Your success in reclaiming your Sacred path will be the extent to which you feel that alignment, the flow of Divine energy through all aspects of your being, and the ability to focus and direct that energy to be of service in your own unique way. Spirituality is experiential, not dogma. So here is what I ask you to do:

Listen to each radio show, and journal - note things you agree with, disagree with, things you have questions about.
